I Became the Wife of the Male Lead: Manhwa |Review


Falling into a book and becoming one of the female characters in it, is the plot of the manhwa I Became the Wife of the Male Lead which is presented with amazing art. 

This manhwa tells the journey of a novelist who becomes Fiona Green, the daughter of Count Green who later becomes the final boss in the novel. Having a knack for magic, Fiona is a villain that everyone fears. Even her abilities can only be conquered by the male and female leads. They are crown prince and saintess who fall in love, then together they try to bring peace to the world.


But what actually happened in the book was horrific. Before becoming a villain, little Fiona was actually tormented by her father and her three siblings. This is also often followed by all employees in the residence of the Count. The climax is when Fiona is appointed as a delegate of the Green residence to go to war with the monsters. Even though at that time Fiona was not even 13 years old. Of course the whole family did this on purpose in hopes that Fiona wouldn't come back.

Fiona is sent to the residence of the Duke of the North who asks all the nobles to each delegate one of her family members. 

They don't know, even Fiona (the real one) doesn't know, if she is an intelligent magician. It is this ability that makes Fiona (now) confident that she can change her destiny so as not to be killed as a Villain. Starting with a trip to the Duke's residence, Fiona's abilities are recognized by Abel Heilon, the Duke of the North who decides to protect Fiona like a princess .

Fiona's life also runs smoothly according to the actual plot although there are slight changes. Until the moment they meet the male lead, the missing crown prince, Sigren. 

The three of them  became so close and continued to strengthen themselves, until the moment when it was Fiona who decided to return to the city to the residence of Count Green. She takes revenge to her family and accidentally met a magician, Marquess Arent Clovis. Someone Fiona had to avoid the most.

As a fan of comics readers, I really highly recommend this manhwa for reading. The plot and the art are an amazing combination. Let's read 😍
